New Boliden
Outokumpu has a 49% ownership interest of new Boliden which started operations in January 2004. New Boliden was created in 2003 through a transaction, whereby Boliden acquired Outokumpu's zinc mining and smelting, as well as copper smelting and refining businesses.
Following the transaction, new Boliden is now one of the leading smelting companies in the world and the world's fourth largest mine producer of zinc. More about Boliden at http://www.boliden.com/
